Inverclyde Now Logo COUNCIL Urges Inverclyde Householders To Recycle Real Christmas Trees

3 January, 2020 | Noticeboard

INVERCLYDE residents are being encouraged to recycle their natural Christmas trees.

Residents can take real trees to the Pottery Street recycling centre in Greenock.

Inverclyde Council’s environment and regeneration convener, Councillor Michael McCormick, said: “This weekend many people will be taking down their Christmas decorations and packing away the baubles and lights for another year.

“When it comes to real or natural Christmas trees, these can be easily recycled in Inverclyde.

“Householders can take them along to Pottery Street and they’ll be recycled into compost.”
