TICKETS have gone on sale for Ardgowan Hospice’s biggest event of the year — its glamorous annual ball which will have a black tie and tiara theme.

It takes place on Saturday 11 March in Greenock Town Hall, and follows the success of the hospice’s Hollywood Ball last year which smashed all previous records to raise more than £50,000.

Ardgowan Hospice need 2017’s total to be even higher and are throwing a lavish party with entertainment provided by a variety of top-class acts. There will also be an auction plus a casino and raffle.

Isabelle Murray of sponsors McGill’s Buses said: “We’ve been headline sponsor of this event for the last two years and I’m really excited about the black tie and tiara theme for 2017.

“We’re proud of the fact that last year broke records and are keen to continue this success. Almost everyone in the local community knows someone who has been helped by Ardgowan Hospice so we’re sponsoring the ball to support our local community and I’m hoping for another record result.”

Auction items up for grabs this year include VIP tickets to see Take That at the Hydro in May, three-ball golf at the exclusive Loch Lomond Golf club, a Christmas Party night at Cruden Hall,  and signed Celtic and Rangers merchandise.

Tables of 10 are on sale for £550 — contact Alex Mula on 01475 558888 or email alex.mula@ardhosp.co.uk.
