Cinema-goers lining up to go to the film are welcomed by Cloch staff

MORE than 200 Cloch Housing Association customers, their children and grandchildren enjoyed a screening of the animated blockbuster Sing, as part of a new customer service initiative.

The event took place at Greenock’s Waterfront Cinema and filled two of their halls.

Cloch Housing Association invited its customers, tenants, factored owners and care and repair customers to the screening as part of a drive to make contact with them and find out what they think about the association.

As they arrived, customers were given a survey to complete and were asked if they were willing to join a new customer panel being set up by Cloch.

Cloch’s FACE (Focus on Achieving Customer Excellence) project is a two-year overhaul of its customer services which will lead to improvements, better service and value for money for its customers.

Nearly 50 surveys were completed and 10 customers want to be involved in a panel which will scrutinise the association’s policies and practices and give feedback on what is good and what can be done better.

The children loved the movie and enjoyed their popcorn and took away a party bag of Cloch goodies.

Andy Thomson, housing services manager, said: “We are delighted with the excellent response from our customers to this event; it was an opportunity to put on something for our customers while taking the opportunity to take their views on board as we look to improve the services we provide. Everyone really enjoyed the event and I thank those who came and the Waterfront Cinema for hosting the event.”
