

GREENOCK Philharmonic Choir hold their spring concert on Saturday 29 March.
It takes place in Lyle Kirk, Union Street, Greenock, at 7.30pm.
They are performing A German Requiem by Brahms.
Guest performers are Glasgow Chamber Orchestra, and soloists Emily Mitchell (soprano) and Timothy Edmunson (baritone).
Musical director, Nicholas Wilks, said: “Brahms’s German Requiem is a challenge for any choir, but preparing for this evening’s performance has been deeply rewarding.”
Tickets are £15, which includes refreshments. Under 18s and students are free.
