PLANNERS are being asked to agree that one of three new commercial units in Greenock’s East End can be a café instead of a shop.
The proposal for the properties on Kilmacolm Road is now for one unit to be for retail, one to be a hot food takeaway and one to be a cafe.
No further details are given in planning documents. The shop unit is already occupied by Flawless hair and beauty salon.
The change-of-use application is pending consideration by Inverclyde Council officials.
The development is at the former Scottish Water site, opposite Burnhead Street, and also features a convenience store, as yet unoccupied.
