RETAILER Argos is to open a store in the Oak Mall next year.
The company ceased trading from the Greenock shopping centre in September as its outlet was in part of the mall which is being demolished as part of major redevelopment plans.
At the time there was no confirmation of a continued presence in Greenock but it has now been confirmed that Argos will have a shop elsewhere in the Oak Mall, opening in mid-2025
In the meantime, it is opening a collection point for items purchased online.
It will operate from space next to The Works from Monday (18 November).
