GOLF -- Whinhill Holding Team Competition And SGU Rules Night

Stableford Team Competition - The club are hosting a Stableford team competition on Sunday (26 February). There is space for 18 teams and an entry sheet is on the club's notice board. The entry fee is £10 per team. Registration takes place at 9.30am for a 10am tee-off start. Anyone without a team should come up to the club on the day as there will be plenty of other members in the same boat. For more information contact the club at the weekend on 01475 724694.
SGU Rules Night -- Officials from the Scottish Golf Union will be holding a seminar on the rules of golf in the clubhouse on Wednesday 21 March from 7pm to 9.30pm. The evening will involve presentations, hand-outs, demonstrations, quizzes and question and answer sessions while also covering the main alterations to the newly published 'Rules of Golf 2012-2015' edition.
