Boca Bay Juniors -- Boca ran out 7-2 winners on Sunday with their best performance in a long season so far. Whinhill opened the scoring early on with their striker running on to a through ball and chipping keeper Aitken. Boca replied with a quick double from a Kenny McKenzie strike and a superb Alan Jack volley. That ended the scoring in the first half. After the break, Boca quickly added further goals through an Alan McDougall double, two superb goals from man of the match Jamie Bell and a further Kenny McKenzie goal. Whinhill scored a consolation second as the game petered out. Best for Boca were their goalscorers McKenzie, Bell, Jack and McDougall.
Boca play Branchton FC on Sunday at Gourock with a noon kick-off. Players report to the park for 11:15.
All players and management thank Phil Paul of Clyde Injury Clinic for his sponsorship for this season and also Drew Gallagher of Cardwell Nurseries for their match ball sponsorship.
