RUNNING -- Glenpark Harriers Recruiting Juniors
GREENOCK Glenpark Harriers running club are actively recruiting juniors for the forthcoming summer season.
With the Olympics only months away and the new track at Ravenscraig, Greenock, due to open in May, the club reckon it’s an ideal time to try the sport.
The junior section is open to all children aged nine to 16. The club are particularly interested in recruiting boys aged 11 to 16 to boost their under-13,15 and 17 squads.
The club trains up to four times per week. As well as that, they compete all over the country and take the juniors on day/weekend trips.
Any junior interested would be entitled to a free four-week trial before having to commit to joining the club.
