Boca Bay Jnrs -- Boca kicked off the second half of the season with a hard-fought 5-3 victory over Emporium FC on Sunday in a league match.
Boca started well and failed to make the most of their advantage and then fell behind to a headed goal from a corner. Boca started the second half well and Stephen O'Neill headed home the equaliser. This sparked Emporium into action and they scored two goals in a five-minute spell to lead 3-1.
Boca made a couple of substitutions and scored four quick goals through a Lee Dillon double, a second strike for Stephen O'Neill and Johnny Armour rounded off the scoring. Best for Boca were keeper Paul Gault, Phil Paul, Stephen O'Neill and Lee Dillon.
Boca play Slaemuir FC this Sunday in a league match and hope to continue the improvement in form they have shown recently.
Players and management thank Phil Paul of Clyde Injury Clinic for his sponsorship for this season and also Drew Gallagher of Cardwell Nurseries for their match ball sponsorship.
