RAF Team Giving Presentation
AIR force personnel will talk about their experiences in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq at an event in Greenock.
The Royal Air Force Presentation Team will be at Greenock East United Reformed Church in Bawhirley Road on Tuesday 28 February at 7pm.
The Rev David M Walton of the church said: “This is an opportunity to see a really superb and engaging presentation about the work the RAF carry out every day on our behalf. The presentation is free and open to all. This is not a recruitment event, but an opportunity to find out what the RAF are doing.”
The RAF Presentation Team's reputation is built on commitment and professionalism, combined with Royal Air Force skills, training and equipment. All of the current team's presenters have returned from operations in Afghanistan and Iraq and most will be sent overseas again following their time with the Presentation Team.
Mr Walton said: “Through a powerful blend of dramatic video footage, personal accounts of real life experiences on operations and the effect on family life, they create a high impact presentation that is guaranteed to inform, engage and inspire.”
Veterans and people who used to be members of the British Forces are encouraged to attend and are invited to wear their military medals. People are asked to arrive early because of the limited capacity in the hall.
