COUPLE Escape Night-Time Blaze

A COUPLE escaped from a blaze in their home in Gourock early on Tuesday when they were woken by their smoke alarm.
Firefighters from Gourock attended the call at a house in Cowal Crescent around 3am.
The fire started in an electrical cupboard and was quickly under control although crews had to stay at the house until 5.30am when ScottishPower made the scene safe.
