YACHT Club Decision Delayed

INVERCLYDE Planning Board today delayed a decision on a development by Royal Gourock Yacht Club so that councillors can visit the site.
The club want to create a car park and marshalling yard on the western side of the club premises at Ashton Road. Officials are recommending refusal of the plan.
A large number of club members attended the board’s meeting but no verdict was reached with councillors agreeing to go to the site to get a better understanding of the development and its potential impact before making a decision.
