WARNING After Sneak-In Thefts

POLICE are warning householders after a rise in the number of sneak-in thefts.
Officers say incidents have been occurring randomly throughout Inverclyde.
The thieves have gained access to property through unlocked doors or open windows.
Police are warning residents to secure their homes.
Sergeant Ian Wood of Greenock Police Office said: “Be aware of who is in your community. Should you see any suspicious people or vehicles in your area, ensure this is reported to the police. These incidents can be quickly checked out and dealt with.”
