POLICE Appeal After Homes Of Elderly Women Are Targeted

POLICE are investigating after a man managed to gain access to the homes of at least two elderly women in Greenock.
The man appeared to target locations which mainly house older people.
The two reported incidents took place in central Greenock on Sunday afternoon. Police have not said exactly which properties were involved.
Detective Sergeant Nigel Gilmour said: “We believe there may be incidents which haven’t been reported to us so far. It is no known yet if anything was stolen.”
The suspect is aged about 30, approximately 6ft tall, had dark hair and was wearing a tracksuit.
Police want to hear from anyone who has information on similar incidents or who knows who the man is. Officers can be contacted on 01475 492500.
