MOONLIGHT Walk Entries Open
ENTRIES for this year’s Ardgowan Hospice Moonlight Walk open today (Wednesday) at 9am.
This year’s ladies-only walk will take place on Saturday 5 May 2012 at 10pm.
Participants will be able to enter via the hospice website or by completing an entry form, which will be available from all hospice shops and both receptions on Nelson Street in Greenock as well as various other outlets.
The sponsored 10-kilometre (6.2mile) walk starts and finishes at Battery Park, Greenock, and will raise money for patients and their families facing the challenge of living with a life-limiting illness.
The entry fee is £15 and every walker will receive a special Moonlight Walk t-shirt, light up headbopper, refreshments and a medal on completion of the walk plus a well deserved breakfast at the finish line.
Minimum sponsorship is £30, on top of the £15 entry fee, which should not be taken from sponsorship monies.
Places are limited and entries are strictly processed in the order received.
