PROPERTY agents who got permission to use a giant empty building in Gourock for sport and leisure want to hear from anyone who would like to use it.

The warehouse at Faulds Park has lain empty since construction eight years ago.

Approval to use it as an indoor leisure facility was granted on appeal last month.

Jeremy Sandle of Nightingale Estates said: “The building is big enough for nine indoor tennis courts or soccer pitches. We are wanting to get in touch with local sports teams such as tennis, basketball, hockey, rugby, football, athletics, cricket, netball, American football, badminton, boxing, wrestling, judo -- anyone and everyone who wants to train indoors.

“We also want to hear from people needing a big indoor space for anything, such as acting and performing.
