The Greenock-built ship will be open to the public at Greenock Ocean Terminal form 10am to 4pm on Saturday to mark the 300th anniversary of the founding of Scott’s shipyard. Entry will be via Campbell Street.

Fort Rosalie (formerly Fort Grange) sailed up the Clyde yesterday and anchored in Loch Long. She is due at the terminal on Friday

Friends of Scott’s Shipbuilders, a group of retired former managers of Scott’s Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. Ltd of Greenock, arranged the visit to give the public a chance to go on board and get a good look at an example of a ship designed and built by the men and women of Inverclyde and wider afield.
