BROTHERS Attacked With Swords

TWO brothers were attacked in Greenock by a group of seven men armed with swords and other sharp objects.
The victims, aged 45 and 37, had just got out of a car in Wren Road, around 8 o’clock last night, when the assaults took place.
The gang then smashed up the car.
The 45-year-old man was today being treated in the high dependency unit at Inverclyde Royal Hospital for injuries to his back, leg, abdomen and head.
His brother was released after treatment for a leg injury.
Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them on 01475 492500.
